My name is Emma, and I’ve been riding for 6 years. I participated in the Youth Trainer Challenge last year and I’m doing it again because April seemed really sweet and it would be nice to help her adjust to her new life and find a good home. I hope that at the end of this April will be able to walk/trot/canter comfortably under saddle and be able to go on trail rides and go to new places to have fun adventures.
Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I’ve been riding since I was 5 years old. At 15, riding is still my passion. My chestnut quarter horse, Dixie, has been with me for four years. As a rescue, she’s faced many challenges, including two difficult rehabs, but we’ve grown stronger together through it all. While I enjoy all types of riding, trail riding and jumping are what I love most. I’m looking forward to the Youth Trainer Challenge and hope to encourage others to pursue similar opportunities and support rescue horses. Every horse deserves a second shot, just like Dixie, and I’m excited give another horse that chance.
